            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Fediverse is still a place where there isn’t a massive pull toward frivolous or trivial topics.</p>
<p>There are still many who shy away from the hustle and posturing of other networks.</p>
<p>Since it’s not as crowded, there’s no corporate interference, and there’s a diversity of federated instances, it’s also easier to build your own Fediverse with the people and topics that interest you. That’s why there’s better engagement and richer interaction here.</p>
<p>It’s paradoxical, given that there are far fewer people, but that’s how it is. I suppose we’re not ready for massive global interaction either, and we function better in less crowded environments.</p>
